My name is Anna Barnett, and I am actively seeking to launch my career in post-production, specialising in colour grading. I looking for a position as a post-production Runner, aiming to leverage and expand upon my current skill set and knowledge. With previous experience working at other post production house such as Splice Post and Halo Post based in London. On top of my working hours I shadowed in other deparments such as Junior Edit Support, Ingest and Grade.

I graduated with honors (2:1) in Digital Media Production BSc from Oxford Brookes University. During my academic journey, I faced a pivotal decision between the BA and BSc pathways. Opting for the BSc route resonated with my inclination towards technology, affording me the opportunity to delve deeply into various roles within the field. This exploration encompassed editing, color grading, VFX, and motion capture, exposing me to diverse facets of the industry.

My educational tenure equipped me with proficiency in industry-standard software applications like AVID Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, and MAYA. To further broaden my understanding of potential career paths, I actively pursued work experience opportunities. I completed a week-long experience as a post-production runner at ENVY Post Production house, and I also visited Sky Studios in Osterley, immersing myself in their remarkable campus environment for a few days.

Subsequent to graduation, I dedicated several months in the summer to The Podcast Guys, a comprehensive podcast production company. In the role of Production Assistant, I collaborated on various briefs, engaging with clients across audio, video, and social media domains. This experience enriched my skills and provided me with multifaceted insights into content creation.

I have previous experience as a Runner in post at Splice Post Production my role included:

• Preparing & serving beverages for clients and staff via the company bar/kitchen

• Taking and collecting breakfast, lunch and dinner orders for clients and ensuring that these are dealt with promptly

• Regular sweeps of the building to ensure it is kept presentable, informing Head of Facility where maintenance is required

• Running drives & documents to other production facilities or client’s offices
